ECN/EQN 1000 series

The ECN/EQN 1000 series consists of compact absolute angle encoders with integrated bearings and stator couplings, engineered for direct mounting to machine rotary axes. The ECN models provide single-turn absolute position feedback, while the EQN models offer multi-turn capability—both delivering instant position values at power-on, eliminating the need for reference runs. Featuring a robust hollow shaft design, high system accuracy, and purely serial data transmission, these encoders are ideal for rotary tables, indexing heads, and other precision rotary applications. Their sealed housings and proven optical scanning technology ensure reliable operation even in environments with condensation, fine dust, or light contamination. With options for functional safety (up to SIL 2 or Performance Level d) and multiple interface compatibility—including EnDat, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi—the ECN/EQN 1000 series combines durability, precision, and easy integration for demanding CNC and automation systems.
